    Wet Exhaust BIG NO-NO

Generator exhaust By all means, pay the extra money for the air/water separator. It makes your boat silent in anchorages.

    Permission to come aboard?

Welcome Aboard We too own a Grand Banks, a 1989 46’ that we try to keep looking new. We also own and manage a not for profit organization, Boatwatch.org, whose mission is to assist in the search for overdue and missing vessels worldwide. Check out our website sometime. I would enjoy...

    Bermuda Crossing on a GB42

I’m in agreement with the guy who asked “Why”? We sailed to Bermuda from Annapolis and back and then asked ourselves why? I much prefer the Caribbean or even Bahamas or Mexico for fun and things to do once you get there.

    Starting/preheating a Caterpillar 3208

Love our 3208 Cats Like so many other happy Cat owners, or 1989 Cats have always started immediately, push the botton and no hesitation, boom they are running. Love them. 7500 hours and oil samples are excellent.

    Interior finish GB42

We have an 1989 46 GB. No oil goes on our boat. Satin interior varnish and bright varnish on all the cabin soles. Don’t mess up a beautiful parquet teak floor with oil.

    Pimp my ride (Inflatable)

You made the right decision on the radio. Twenty five watts is a lot more effective than a 5 watt handheld should you ever need it for something serious.
