Naknek, 1966, documented at 43', 14' beam, engine Detroit 8v71, hot water from shore power or engine, pressurized water system, 2 x 200 gallon of fuel (400 gallons), 2 x 150 gallon of fresh water, 75 gallon holding tank, fresh water Dometic toilet (no smell), Dickenson diesel stove, granite counters, full size memory foam mattress, Furuno Radar, Furuno Sounder, Garmin GPS, 2 VHF radios, hailer, am/fm/cd player, apt sized fridge/freezer (not under the counter, next size up), Blue Sea 120 volt panel, 2500 watt inverter, 2 banks of batteries. Huge aft deck (mostly covered), and even bigger upper deck.
She started life as a commercial charter fishing boat out of Ilwaco, WA. Originally called the Santa Claus. At some point she became a charter dive boat and ran out of Tacoma for several years. Our friends Captains Kurt and Peggy Long bought the boat and moved her to Friday Harbor where they ran Naknek Dive Charters for 5 years. 5 years ago they sold the business and started converting her to a pleasure cruiser. Lots of work done, a bit more finishing to do. Conversion work stopped as Kurt and Peggy bought a 1972 54' DeFever last summer! We've known them and the boat for 10 years (our now 23-yr old daughter was a deck hand for the dive boat when she was in high school), doing a lot of buddy boating over the years. The Nak, as we call her, is a fine wood boat that was CG certified for many years and will make someone a great Pacific NW cruiser.
They are asking $25,000. Boat is located in Friday Harbor, WA.
