1976 48’ Tolly - $89K
Hello TF Clan!!
Admiral and I toured the following 1976 48’ Tolly yesterday. Salesman mentioned “two from WA area had come to see this boat in attempt for repatriation back into Tollycraft land” as well as two others from our SF Bay Area... no one, so far, has stepped has up to the plate. Admiral and I have decided to not purchase her either. I feel it appropriate to have TF contributors learn of this deal – Price has dropped a couple times, rather quickly... Currently it's $89,000 – began at 116,000 about 6 months ago. This Tolly was donated and is owned by a mariners nonprofit org, might be willing accept a very “reasonable” offer?? For years we passed this Tolly on a canal while headed to SF Bay; it was docked in back if a house with 90 +/- yr owner often futzing aboard. I never heard it started or saw it out. Too much to state here regarding what we feel about the boat. I would be pleased to discuss on phone, if anyone is interested send me a PM with phone and I’ll send my phone back. In our opinion, this Tolly needs considerable refinishing but appears it could become a viable Tolly again and may even be currently OK for traveling a long distance on her own bottom right now?? Check carefully of course!
