1991 GBC 36 Chain Capacity in Locker

I have a 1991 36 GBC. Currently I have 240' of 5/16" chain. Its pretty old and I want to replace it with 300' of HT.


There's definitely some room in the locker, but I'm not sure another 60' would fit?


Has anyone with a 89+ year 36 have fitted 300' in their chain locker?

Jack,We have a 89GBEU andhave 325 ft of chain and a 25lb Vulcan.
No problems with storage.
