To all Yanmar 6LY3 owners, I came across a 2010 Marine Service Advisory that must have fallen through the cracks for me right around the time I bought the boat. I have twin 6LY3-EPT (480 H.P.) on my 2007 Mainship Pilot 430 coupled with ZF Gearboxes.
There is a harness adapter needed in line with the engine harness. I ordered the necessary parts from my local distributor. It is no longer free however since so much time has past. I have attached the Bulletin.
