All of my stainless fitting for the seawater on my AC systems are finished. I have all new bronze fitting. I have a friend telling me I should only use nylon because of the electrolysis. The old ones were stainless and lasted 17 years. I doubt that they went because of electrolysis. I am a little afraid of the nylon because they can break.

depends how old you are:socool: for me nothing has to last more than 17 years.

if it was me i am going with bronze

Plastic fittings have thicker walls so less water flow for the same OD. That might make difference, probably not. For the through hulls, I'd use bronze. No white plastic for those but the black Marelon is good too.

I like bronze but make sure they aren’t brass.
