Was going to change out the Racor S3227 filter on my farms diesel backup generator after twenty some-odd years and noticed it is for gasoline engines. Have the twenty year old spare in hand. Generator has hardly one hundred hours on it.
Does anyone know if this is an issue or just standard practice as the filter unit has a clear separator bowl which is only available in the gas series?
