Asian Carp in Great Lakes

Seems very likely that Asian carp are now in the Great Lakes. By most accounts they will destroy the current eco-system. Why has this happened? Because Illinois refused to close the lock system to the lower rivers. Why? Money and very high level Chicago politics. Loopers will no doubt be pleased.
