Had the bottom done and we're ready to splash tomorrow!* A few small blisters in the barrier coat, but given her age our bottom is in great shape.* Cleaned some brown stains from the hull too.*

Also*new stuffing for both shafts, now maybe I can get the bilge dried out.

Before and After shots...

Last summer/fall we hauled Willy in Craig after 3 years in the water w 3 or 4 coats of Interlux Micron Extra. It did well as an anti-foul coating but I'll never use it again as it did not sluff off as advertised. Had to scrape 100% of the hull putting lots of scraped off paint on the ground. Swept it up in piles. We re-coated w Pettit Sea Mate anti- foul at $80 gal.All the fishermen use it and we intend to paint on the grid from now on.

1. * * Freshly hauled being blocked up. Hull is wet.
2. * * Partly scraped after fully drying.
3. * * Fully scraped w all the little blisters ground out and thickened epoxy applied to the
blister depressions. Notice the dark spots.
4. * * Finished bottom (and other stuff) ready to launch after propeller installation.

It's always amazing how bad they look coming out and how good they look going in.
