There has been some discussion on documentation and the history of boats on here.
I recently came across an advertisement for a "38 ft classic" sail boat on Craigslist for $16000 in Vancouver B.C. This is not all that remarkable and the ad is here:
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds/boa/d/delta-central-38-ft-classic/7450532136.html
What is remarkable, is the history that is supplied with the ad and imbedded in the ad. It has it's own web page here:
https://whistlersdaughter.wordpress.com/about/
For lovers of boats, the story of Whistler's Daughter is worth reading. It harkens back to the time when there were more affordable boats in terms of moorage and maintenance. When second hand consignment stores were rather plentiful in the Vancouver area and there were back yard builders.
