You can save quite a few dollars in exchange if you don't use your bank to do the transaction.
I purchased a Bayliner 4788 in Anacortes Wa for $180 K and used Knightsbridge FX which exists solely for doing forgein exchange transactions world wide. I saved nearly $2500.00 in exchange by using them intead of my bank to convert Canadian $ to USD. Knightsbridge isn't the only business doing this, Google search will turn up many of them. Knightsbridge had great reviews so I chose them and am not connected in any way with them
