I am trying to understand the differences in the hull and engine location between the CHB 34 and 35(non-senator) models. Did CHB actually add a foot the the 34 hull to get more room in the aft cabin for the walk around bed? Or did they just modify the cabin trunk to get more room in the aft cabin and call it a 35?
If CHB did add a foot to the hull did they move any of the weight in the engine room aft to keep the boat from becoming more bow heavy? It seems if the hull length was increased and the engine room weight stayed in the same location it would negatively impact handling in a following sea.
