Nit sure if original or was installed by PO but there is a round light on cockpit overhead that I’m not sure how to turn on - it has a switch but it doesn’t turn on no matter what switches I turn on in cabin, anyone know which switch if any it’s on? And the round fluorescent light in main cabin isn’t working either, is it controlled along with the other AC cabin light switch? Before I pull apart fixtures to check for power, just want to make sure I have them turned on first.

Maybe the bulb is burnt out.

The round light in the salon is controlled by a light switch located at the desk on my 350. I don't think the 390 has a desk, but I would suspect the switch is in the same location. My PO added a florescent light to that circuit located over the stove. There's a second switch there that controls the small accent lights in the salon ceiling. I have the light you are talking about on ceiling of aft deck. It's not working either. I have not checked to see if it is just a bulb. These outside fixtures corrode and are notorious for having bad connections with the light bulb. Can't help as to what circuit breaker feeds that light. Maybe someone can help us with that one.

Bulbs are good

Yes, I ch3ckwd the bulbs and they are good

Feeling really dumb, simple fixes

So i bought a new bulb for the circular fixture and while the original one checked out electrically, must have had a bad pin when inserting into the holder, in any case, now works with new bulb. So bulb was ok electrically but didn’t work! Grrrrr

Now for the cockpit light, I took the fixture down and found a loose wire, seems to be a pattern on this boat. The spade connection had slipped off on one side. But the part that the spade connection slips onto was very short and as much as I tried, could get a good fit that did not shake loose. So decided to buy a new dome light with a red/while selector and start over again with new and shiny.

Sorry to have asked for help before fully investigating issues.
