I lived on my Sailboat on the South (port) side of the River between 12th and 17th Ave about 2:38 on that video. This was back in the very different mid 70's

Watching the tugs maneuver the freighters up and down the Miami River is interesting. Little tug up front pulling and the big guy attached to the stern pushing and pulling around the turns in the river.
 
Very nice! Almost made it to my store on the Tamiami Canal. A lot of good and interesting people make their living on that river. People who work on that river call each other River Rats. Wes Hempstead of Hempstead Towing called me a River Rat. I’m very proud of that.
