Florida is mostly just a sand bar , a 2inch Honda pump is all it takes to "jet in" pilings .
There is hard pan a few ft down , so the pile driver is only needed for hurricane docks .
The shallow footings docks (5ft) will sink a post 30 ft inland , so any pull on the dock is taken by the posts , not the dock.
