Sorry if this has been covered before but....
My new to me trawler has a Ford Lehman 120 engine.
Going to change all the filters and fluids very soon. The boat came with some extra filters but they dont seem to match what is already mounted on the engine.
I will attach some pics.
The 3166 are fuel filters currently mounted on engine.
Cant see the number of the oil filter on the engine.
Can anyone help sort out this puzzle?

Thanks

I can't help with the other filters, but I can comment on the Racor fuel filters. The "S" designation is very fine filtration of 2 microns, while the "P" is the coursest designation or 30 microns.
I am not 100% sure, but being as Lehman's are "older" mechanical engines, you do not "require" as fine a filtration as 2 microns. However, it will not hurt anything, except that your filter MAY plug up with contaminants more quickly??
A lot of boaters who want the "best" fuel for their engine (especially if they have "common rail" which you do not), use a "staged filtration" where they use 3 progressively increased steps of 30 micron bulk, 10 micron intermediate, and a final 2 micron. This is considered by many to be the "gold standard".

For what it is worth on my FL120 I use 10 micron filters in the Racor and NAPA Gold 3166 / Hastings FF963 filters for the fuel secondarys. Not sure what your Quicksilver filter is but it looks similar to the NAPA Gold 1515 / Hastings LF115 that I use. A quick call to a local NAPA store will tell you what cross references are available.

Do you think the R24 filters might be used in place of the 3166 filters? Trying to figure out if any of these are actually for this engine. I am probably going to toss the Quicksilver filter as the metal plate is rusted. So the NAPA #1515 is for the Lehman oil filter?

You may have some filters for a generator there as well as the compatibility mentioned by NW seadog.

The 3166 fuel filters were standard but some folks upgraded their engine to use spin-on filters. This is what mine look like

If yours looks like that then they should work.

As Firehoser mentioned the 2 micron filter is probably over-kill for the FL120 but if I had them I'd use them. The NAPA 1515 or the Hastings LF115 should work fine.

my generator uses one like the metal case racors and they have a plastic see thru bowl that screws on the bottom.
