I recently changed my cable throttle and gear controls with an older (2005 era) Glendinning electronic system. I obtained the system used off of Craigslist, and had a huge amount of questions about all the various bits and pieces, connectivity , and programming.
Rick in their service department has been an absolute blessing, always taking the time to answer any questions I had, and even offering to "dust off the old machines" and manufacture a part for me. I found out that Glendinning supports its entire product line (hardware and software). They made me custom cables, sent obscure parts, and (refreshingly) know their product very well.
The best part- I never felt I was a bother to them, nor was any attempt made to belittle my older system to upsell me into a current generation control system.
If I ever have the need to replace or upgrade my controls, there is only one manufacturer I will consider.
Oh- electronic controls are WAY cool!!!!!
