Scary moment for bass anglers as lightning nearly strikes boat

That was a bit close for comfort. We got caught out in a lightening storm a few weeks ago that blew out our radar. The strike that did it didn't hit the boat but was close enough that the lightening bolt and thunder clap were simultaneous.

I was watching the radar screen when the bolt hit and the screen bloomed bright then shut down. I'm in the process right now of getting a new radar installed.

Thank God it only took out your RADAR, could have been worse...
