I agree and after pulling the tank...I dont ever want to have to do this again,*** Cant imagine dealing with one that leaks** I have every thing cleaned up and the ports installed****** Had to use two as this todd tank has a center section that*has a hollow*in the top creating a large hump inside the top ot the tank roof, could not reach around it to fit vent fitting*Will reinstall today
Anybody who wants a great day of fun should do this* two showers later I can still smell it, my imagination I am sure

* I have installed two 1 1-2'' fittings cross corner from eachother that will vent on opposite sides of the boat with straight hose runs.* Sure hope this elimanates the smell*** I have a 35 ga tank

beckson screw type port in my holding tank to allow instalation of new vent lines
TOP , they do not seem engineered well enough to handle a constant load , esp in a plastic tank that may have wiggle walls.
I use them in our plastic water tanks and a tiny weep is hardly a problem, but FW does not stink, and carry disease..
