Good day all,
It's been a while since reporting, but we are still in the research and asking questions phase. Looking forward to getting back to the good ole US of A next year. In any case, if you all would entertain one of my questions that I've not been able to find and answer to, I would appreciate it.
What are the common thoughts about insurance on steel vs. fiberglass hulls? Would the rates be any less or more or the same? Personally, I think the steel hull would be less of a risk, but then it tends to cause more damage to others if an incident occurred. I just never know how insurance companies view the different build materials. I like a well cared for steely, but if the rates are going to be through the roof in comparison, I'll stick to glass.
Your thoughts???
