Kohler 8EOZ Air Filter Part Number?

The Kohler 8EOZ parts manual shows 2 different part numbers for the air filter...

The parts listing also shows a selection for "variation Number"

I am not sure what this means?

Will that specific info be on the units data plate?

Anybody know which one fits?

The spec number is on this tag in the upper left corner. Mine is 126176. With that number you can find your variation number in the parts catalog. For mine the variation number is 4 for the air filter.

Good luck with any part for a marine Kohler generator. I am glad to not have one of those anymore. A perfectly fine piece of equipment. But horrible parts and support.
