Anyone wire one of these? The socket connections, the type with a hole and tightening screw are so small you'd need a magnifying glass and eye glass screw driver to connect them (think computer circuit board!). Also the holes for the wire do not go all the way through the pins so they can only grab about 1/16" of wire. Also the wire has to make an immediate 90 degree turn to feed into 3/4" mounting hole. Try 22ga with ring terminals? Manual says nothing about how this is supposed to properly done! Thanks for any input.

Thanks for the solder idea but the pins are potted in epoxy or equivalent. I think the heat would be harmful. Anyway I ended up drilling the holes through and took 3 strands off each 16ga wire to fit through holes and tightened down screws. Seems to be working fine now. Just frustrating after days of work and seemingly miles of expensive wire and cable to fit 3 stations and then try to wire this expensive remote with miniature pins!

The trick with that wire attachment (a very common Euro thing) is to solder an inch of the wire end , then put in the hole.

The hold down screw will not break the wires as easily when tightened.
