- We expect ads placed to be related to the topic of this forum.
- Ads that are inactive for 180 days or longer may be moved to the Classified Archive and locked. Ads may be relisted if the item is still current. Alternatively, owners may contact a Moderator to reinstate an archived ad.
- The Classified section is for advertising, members are asked to refrain from posting discussions to a Classified Ad. Please start a discussion thread or PM the owner for discussions.
- Do not hijack another member's ad by posting unsolicited commentary. Example: if a member has posted an ad offering an anchor for sale, don't add a post to his thread stating that you have an anchor you'd like to get rid of also. Posts deemed as unsolicited commentary may be removed.
- For your own security, do NOT include your e-mail or phone number in your ad. Instead request that interested parties contact you via PM (private message) to provide owners contact info.

Our classifieds are free and anyone registered here is welcome to post an ad.
Be aware that there are unscrupulous folks out there. Avoid any interaction that seems odd to you or �feels� wrong. Inquiries from unknown buyers, buyers �agents� and other non-traditional approaches should be treated with extreme caution.
Beware of unsolicited contacts offering to put you in touch with someone else who is buying or selling via e-mail or text.
Do not post your e-mail address or phone number in a classifieds ad.
Hints that you may be dealing with a Scammer:
- Seller or Buyer approaches you via a direct email or PM and then steers you to an off-site communication method (text or email).
- No posts or very few forum posts.
- Recent forum membership
- Insists on conducting negotiations via email or text rather than PM
- Requires payment via Bank Transfer, BitCoin/CryptoCurrency, WesternUnion or other unsecured method.
- Buyer or Seller suggests Paypal "Friends and Family" payment. Paypal is a good way to arrange payment but an invoice for goods and services should be used rather than "Friends and Family". "Friends and Family" avoids fees BUT there is no recourse if the transaction runs aground. Friends and Family is for gifts only. There is no protection for Friends and Family transactions, so never ever use it to buy something.
- Declines to allow viewing the item before proceeding with the transaction.

Welcome aboard. There was a 40’ Albin for sale here that was in really good condition. Not sure if it is still for sale or not.
Budget is somewhere around 25,000 to 40,000. I can do some refit/restoration topside myself but the basics need to be in decent shape(engine, through hulls, bottom gear, stuffing box etc). The Albin mentioned would be nice but in Spring, were tad shallow at around 2.5 feet over mud. So, were sticking with 35' or less. Plus, Im kind of a believer that one should have the smallest vessel possible that meets the requirements. Larger boat = larger expense 
Lots of trawlers located on the west coast, too bad shipping costs so much.

You will be very limited in choices if you are looking for 30" draft. Mine could probably make it to 30" if the water and fuel tanks weren't full.

Those boats you listed, in a double cabin version will not be very good in 2 1\2 ft. of water. Our 34DC is about 3 1\2' draft. I get nervous anytime I have less than 10' under the keel.

Limited and still somewhat tide restricted for sure. However, soft muddy bottom has been kind to several twin screw inboard vessels over the years.
The relatively protected rudder (long keel) combined with the shaftless direct drive on most of these small trawlers I've seen should help mitigate somewhat.
Though I do wonder just how much the rudder is protected.

1977, Lehman with almost 2700 hrs. No Bow thruster. We can turn in just about her own length with no current or wind. We can back her up straight or to the starboard pretty easily. When docking we always ask for bow in- starboard tie. I always try to think ahead about when and where we will be docking. I have backed it in a couple times when the conditions favored that.
She is our first boat and this will be our third season coming up. We bought her in Jersey City and brought her up the Hudson River and Champlain Canal to Lake Champlain where we keep her.
When we switch coasts I would have no qualms about buying the same boat again.

I own a 1978 C&L Puget 37 Trawler I'm interested in selling. Double cabin double head. 120hp Ford Lehman single screw with 5000 hours. All systems working and I've tested all fluids regularly. It's docked in Portland, Oregon on Hayden Island and has been there since 2019 and I've owned her since 2021. I had a new exhaust system installed and the seacocks replaced in 2021.
