So I know she's not a trawler - but a friend of mine has a Mainship 34 MY. The aft cabin opening port is leaking and I'm pretty sure the weatherstripping is shot (she's a 1996 I think so that wouldn't be unheard of). I'm trying to sort out who might have built that port so I can hopefully get the proper weatherstrip for it. If that's not possible, anyone who might have experienced that and have any ideas about what you used to replace that weatherstrip would be useful too! Thanks in advance - Ben

Picture might help.
From my Bacchus website there is a link for MS, Luhrs, Hunter parts with instructions to get to part pictures. Same from the Sticky at top of Marlow - Mainship section here on TF.
You will need to scan thru pics as they are not searchable like the late model yr 34T/HT BOM that is also available.
I'd confirm it's the gasket vs the flange bedding that's leaking. I've had many portlights on another boat that leaked at the flange after many yrs. I also replaced gaskets when rebedding as it's a good idea when out and EZ to work on.

Thank you! I will look these over - definitely could glean a lot of information from this vast library of information. If I get down this weekend I'll try to get apic of it, and will check the gaskets too.

Thanks again!
Ben
