Hi All,

The Marine Air 12,000 BTU all in one unit AC in our forward cabin has stopped blowing air. The compressor kicks on but the fan does not. Is there some sort of relay or something for me to check? Burned out fan motor maybe?

Thanks,
Doug

Some basic testing is easy to do. Find the control board and there should be an L1-Fan and L2 Fan, lug screws(see picture). When the compressor comes on you should get 110V across those lugs. If you don't get any voltage showing up there then a board/relay problem, otherwise a fan issue.

We have a 7K BTU unit in the forward cabin that blows air but doesn’t cool. It looks to be original to the boat so I am just going to replace it.
