Maxwell Windlass Sale

Well the Maxwell HRC1010 12V that I've been considering for awhile has gone on Sale for 2472.99 that's about as rock bottom as I've seen lately. Gonna have to do some major modifications to get any windlass to fit on our 83 IG 32 but I just can't see haulin chain or line by hand any longer, I have 200' of 3/8 BBB that is still in very good shape with little wear or rust. The batteries aren't that far from the bow and routing a heavier wire to the 12 volt shouldn't be any major issue . Anyone see a better price these days ? Anyone know of any drawbacks to the Maxwell series ? Thanks

I've had an HRC10-8 on my boat for a few years and it's been a great windlass. Plenty of power, reliable, easy to work with, etc.
