Happy Fourth of July Weekend all!
After a three day journey around Florida, we believe that we’ve located our first trawler. It’s a Marine Trader 50 that’s in fairly good condition overall and what we’ve seen over the past month. I also have an insurance inspection from January that looks fairly good and items have been addressed since.
...so we made an offer and after some quick back and forth settled on a price! We’re going to liveaboard with our two kids (6 & 9). With the current situation of the world and school it only seems like a better adventure with homeschooling. We plan to cruise the costal regions and of course head to the Bahamas and beyond.
Looking to line up a pre-inspection surveyor and possibility an engine mechanic/inspection for the two (n/a) Ford Lehman’s with under 3k hours; the boat also has a water maker, autopilot, water maker, solar, etc.
Any recommendations, or ones to avoid (PM me) that serve the area?
Thank you!
Adam
