Monk 36 Side Window Replacment

Has anyone ever replaced the square port side salon window? Wondering what the exact dimensions of the window are without removing the wood frame. I’d like to order the glass while I’m in Prince Rupert so I can bring it home to Haida Gwaii and do the job there. 1986 Monk 36.

I do not have the answer to your question but I can offer an opinion. Several windows on our Monk 38 have discoloration between the sheets of safety glass. I inquired about replacement and was advised that tempered glass is produced to exact dimension so cannot be cut to size. Also, told that there was a minimum total order quantity of square feet. I can't recall the amount, but reasonable for my needs. Didn't go through with the refit as I didn't want to deal with window frame removal/replacement. Therefore my opinion, know the size you want.
