I have 2" shafts on a Hat 58 LRC. A diver changing my zincs noticed a couple of the bolts were missing from the muff couplers. After spending a couple days researching them, I have a couple questions:
1. How is it that bronze muff couplers can be used on SS shafts without worrying about dissimilar metal corrosion. Does the zinc prevent that?
2. Ditto for the bolts that clamp the muff couplers together. They're SS.
3. Seeing as I'm going to need to replace the missing bolts, I don't suppose anyone knows the size/type of bolts used to clamp a 2" shaft muff coupler...?
Thx.
