Somebody asked what the particular model boat is in my latest avatar photo. This very interesting new boat is a Alva 50, monohull, Eco-Cruiser. One of my partners wants us to get one, the version with....2X230W electric motors....240 KwH battery pack.......solar cell, 4.9kw......100kw genset. CE-A rating. Its probably really good, but I have a few concerns myself for long range cruising. Can anybody find any faults, in order to help with our research on it?
