Hello to everyone, I’m new to the forum so please forgive any mistakes I might make. The maritime organization that I belong to ( Buffalo Maritime Center ) has recently acquired a 33 foot personal cruiser disguised as a tug boat.
She was built in 1965 and powered by stream, re-powered in the mid 70’s with a Ford Industrial Engine. If anyone can help us identify the engine ID plate numbers we’d appreciate it.
Serial number; 361617-C18KA
Type; C3PY-6005-A
Options; SO-1060

If it’s a diesel, try a forum called old marine diesel.
Lots of good information there, and some knowledge of obsolete and vintage engines.

Try contacting American Diesel to see if he can help. He may not be able to but worth the phone call or Email. Brian is the guru there.
