Our Names are John and Paula Kenny. We are from Upsate New York in the Finger lakes Region. We have lived aboard for almost 20 years many years ago and are going wet again. John has a Captain's license and has been doing boat tours in the Finger Lakes for the last 5 years. We want to continue to use this license to do high touch , comfort dinner cruises for 6 or less, and do over nights for one couple at a time. We want to do this all winter as we travel the great loop. We have an offer in on a 36 foot PT trawler. It is in Maryland and we are hopeful that this transaction will happen. We are planning on selling out landside. We are both collecting Social security and we hope that this plus our charter business will support our life goal. We would like to feel comfortable with the financial end of living aboard a boat in motion on a boat that burns 2.5 gals per hour at 7knts. We plan to anchor out 3 nor 4 nights per week, and Paula is a great cook so eating on board is a preference. Can anyone help?
