Had some routine engine work scheduled during the off season, due to parts and other delays the folks finally managed to come down yesterday to reinstall the coolers and get me out on the water. Unfortunately they found some oil residue on the salt water side and retested the cooler (it passed the initial test) and have determined it has failed. New one on order and its coming in Monday and will be buttoned up next week. Just in time for the family to be going out of town. :banghead::facepalm:
Biggest frustration was that this was supposed to be done 3 weeks ago so if the problem had been found then it would be fixed. Hopefully this is the last gremlin I have to deal with for awhile.

Guess I will be stuck taking the kayak out striper fishing for another week.

With the supply shortages, I’m fearful that if anything breaks, my season will be dramatically impacted. Fortunately, my vessel is newer.
