Blue is hydraulic pump for steering. Jabsco (brass) is compartment bilge and deck wash.

On my vessel that is built to survey the engine pump can be connected to each water tight compartment via this manifold....

Greetings,
Mr. y. You have a very competent engine installer, it appears. Stout bracketing.

The only "criticism"/observation I might offer is to weld a tab on the support brackets for both the hydraulic and wash down pumps, inboard, standing proud of the slotted bases. This will make it much easier to lever against the base of the pumps to tighten the belts.

Is the serpentine belt easily replaceable without disassembly of the belts on the two front pumps? I can't quite make out the routing.

Leverage point taken.

Crank snub is billet 4140 this will be painted for corrosion control. Plenty of space between front bracket and crank stub to replace serpentine belt. After removing front v belts.

Greetings,
Mr. y. Thanks. I guess there was no other geometry around the pump/belt placement. I have a similar issue with our Naiad pump installation with NO leverage point. A real PIA to work with.

Checked leverage... as it works out the adjustment slots are long enough to permit a number 3 Philips driver to slot in and provide leverage against the pump body and bracket.

Greetings,
Mr. y. OK. Your boat and I appreciate the screwdriver in the slot approach but at this stage, it would be a very simple task to add that tab I mentioned. In "the heat of the moment" you may thank me in the future...
