Onan 8KW Genset MX Manual

I have a Service Manual for my Onan 8KW (MDKC OR MDKD) but I am wanting a Maintenance Manual. I am looking for something that is a little more detailed regarding the mechanic section of the genset.


I am thinking about replacing the heat exchanger and because of it's location, a lot of the work will be done "blind" hence the need for a better explanation.


Does anyone have a source for this?

If you have a model and spec # you can order them through Cummins.

You will get 3 manuals. One for the Generator, one for the engine (mine is a Kobuta 3-cyl) and a parts manual.

Thanks for the guidance and direction. I went to the Sea Power Marine website and those are for MDKD (L) (M) and (N) gensets.



I have either the MDKC or MDKD, not sure and I can't find anything specific about which one.


I also suspect the motor part may be a Kubota engine but not sure.
