Hello All,
I have an older Perkins 4-154 engine. Today on a short cruise, cut shorter by a pinhole leak on the top of the injector pump. It is located between where the throttle inputs and the body of the pump. Anyone have this issue and can it be taken off and just replace what looks to be a gasket or am I in for an injector pump replacement?
Another question, does the perkins 4-154 translate to another commercial engine. My universal diesel in the sailboat was the Kubota D1003 engine from the 245 tractor saved a bunch of money using replacement parts from that engine.
