I recently bought a Nordic Tug 26 that does not have a pressure wash down system. I would like to add one for both anchor and cockpit wash down. I can tap off the toilet inlet through hull, install a 12V pump with quick change outlets at the bow and stern, but I was wondering if anyone has used one of the cordless pressure washers that are on the market. For example https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07M7L1WKK?psc=1&th=1&linkCode=gs2&tag=spottingsco0d-20
These will draw water from any source and seam to have enough lift to allow the pick up hose to be lowered into the water at any point on this boat. I am able to recharge the batteries that last for 30 min each. They all state "fresh water Used only" but I imagine that they would last quite long if flushed with fresh water from the sink after use.
Anyone tried one of these? Your thoughts?

I bought a Makita cordless one recently, and it seems reasonable. My thoughts were like yours - run with saltwater, but do a fresh water flush afterwards.

So far I have only run freshwater through it. The Makita one comes in a sizeable container that can be filled with water, and it does not use all that much water so I'll likely continue to use fresh only.

Seeems like it could double as a deck cleaner, too. Is there a 110v plug for use with it?

I have a similar device made by Ryobi. It is not a pressure washer. Might call it a pressure rinser. While the pressure might be enough to do some cleaning the volume of water is just too small. To get the full pressure the nozzle needs to be set to the smallest stream.

I think you’d be happier with a real 12 volt wash down pump and on deck hose connection.

I have one of those Worx systems, I bought it for the boat but the pressure is so small that I don't even bother with it anymore. I use (very occasionally) at home to bleach wash the back of my garage which is hard to reach with a hose. I would not buy it again or recommend it.
