I had a 38 that my father owned before me. Boat was dependable for us, never had problems with windows, decks or tanks. Sold it and bought a Banks, but the issue was size not quality of the vessel.

I have a 1984 Present 42' that I purchased 5 years ago. It is my 1st trawler. I live aboard and find it roomy and comfortable. There are twin Lehman SP135's in it. So far it has been dependable. There is not much in the way of teak on the exterior which I like. Cosmetically it needs work. I am in the process of tackling that this spring. Overall I like the boat.
