Anyone have a propane detector that they'd recommend? Seems to be a lot false alarm complaints in the RV community. I'd prefer a unit with it's onw batteries versus hard wired into the boat 12V system. (Please, no debates about the horrors of propane on a boat). Thanks

This unit needs to be hard wired in. The sensor is known to fail over time. It auto shuts the propane off when in fault or danger mode. Not really what you are asking for but it’s the only thing I feel worthy of recommending.
