I need a propane fume detector with two sensors.

All the xintex ones I see are all back ordered. Anyone know why they are so scarce? Where to get one?

Mainship390 - we installed a propane stove and need the fume detector.

In Australia, if the stove has gas cut off if flame extinguishes, you don`t need a detector.
I had a Magic Chef stove which was leaking at the control valves for the burners. Looked at repair and adding a detector, but it was way more cost effective, and a big upgrade, to ditch the MC and replace it with new, with safety flame failure cut off.

The stove has thermocouples which will stop gas flow if flame goes out. If a hose or hose connector leaks, gas will flow to the bilge undetected.

I need a sniffer/fume detector to be safe from leaks, not flame out

Still dont know where i can find any in stock. Im in usa.

We had 2 24 volt Promariner battery chargers on order for months and finally gave up and ordered a couple of Mastervolt ones. I would have much preferred the Promariner but these times you take what you can get I guess.

Sure Marine in Seattle shows a Xintex detector with two sensors in stock. It does not have a shut off solenoid though. The one with a solenoid shows out of stock.

The one I have up for sale with all the rest of my propane stuff is only single sensor. Can not add a second one without a little surgery to the wiring. Not sure why they are hard to find with two. Probably not a large call for them? Try ebay or Amazon?

Thanks much Porman - very helpful. I got one from Sure Marine.
