Props on a MS 430?

Can you 430 operators tell me what size props you have on your 430 aft cabin, and do they work well.


I have the Yanmar 6STP LYA 370 hp engines with a 1 3/4 in shaft.

Mine are 25 by 24. Same engines and shafts as yours. At 1600 rpm and 8.5 knots I use 4 gallons per hour. With a clean bottom and about half tanks the engines reach max rpm. Can't remember for sure what speed that is.

Expanded Area Ratio. Basically the area of the prop blades to the area of the full circle area of the prop.
