Removing the aftercooler from my Cummins QSB 5.9 for the first time and just realized there is a fuel line between the bracket and the AC. Any issue with me simply removing this line and replacing it when I put the AC back in?

*update* I tore the skin off my knuckles but managed to get the bolts off the inside of the AC and left the bracket in place.

Sounds like the better way to do it, aside from the knuckle skinning part...

Yep, I tend to get wounds just getting the tools out for a simple job. Sucks getting old! And not breaking open the fuel line will probably save you lots of headaches down the road.
