Found a great deal on radar dome,started building custom alum bracket for mast on Broadbill today

When I bought the Broadbill it had no electronics,I installed the 1st axiom 9 mfd with Navionics for steaming the boat home,I recently added 2nd axiom9 RV and have RV transducer waiting to haul boat to install transducer,now that I found this radar I’ll add axiom number 3 so I don’t have to use overlay to slow down processor,am thinking to use axiom 7 strictly for radar,then next month will do autopilot install

10m cable finally came in,took awhile sending that fat cable through the wire chases,but it’s done,and works marvelous,autopilot next then full electronic package complete

We tried to get the old Garmin radar cable out of our arch, no go so I finally had to cut it. The Quantum2 radar we installed only need power so it was simple to cable up. I turned it on the other day and went through the setup for the radar and it seems to work, but we are still in the barn so I can’t say how well it works yet.
