Rebuilt Perkins 6.3554 Sources

Looking for a rebuilt Perkins, non-turbo, for my Monk 36.
Tried TAD.
Any other suggestions for sources would be welcome.

Perkins engines was just bought by Caterpillar Inc.

If you can find a decent diesel mechanic the Perkins can be rebuilt in the boat. The cylinders have replaceable sleeves and kits are supposed to be still available. Why does it need to be rebuilt?

That happened more than 10 years ago.

If you have a Perkins engine thats a bit tired and wish to overhaul and rebuild it, by far the cheapest place to get rebuild kits are from www.parts4engines.com. They actually make the parts for Perkins and they ship worldwide.
