Hi,
Looking for solutions to secure our cabin. I had to drill out the current lock as it wasn't working well and I got the key stuck in it. If anyone has an idea for a way to lock/secure this cabin door I'd appreciate it. I looked quite deep into Google for an exact sized replacement lock but didn't find one. The measurements of the lock are 2 inch high, 1.5 inch between screws, diameter of circular lock 1 inch.
Thanks!

On a previous boat I used a large pin going through the door into the cabin side. Then ha a hasp that covered the pin and used a padlock to lock the hasp in place. Not as elegant as the OEM lock but I think you will have trouble finding something that will work.

Is there any identifying information on the existing lock assembly? And have you asked questions about it on a boat-specific forum for that brand?

If you can get a brand name and a model number you might be able to find used or old-stock. And if you can find a vendor name you could use the web.archive.org website to possibly bring up catalog pages from around the time that boat was built.
