Reset MMSI on Standard Horizon GX 2200E

I've changed country of registration so I want to change the MMSI. In the settings there's an option to do this. It generates a "request code' which apparently you should be able to provide to SH and they in return should give you a password to change the MMSI. That's the theory. I've generated this request code on my VHF but what to do now? I can't locate a SH dealer or distributor where I am in Türkiye. Has anyone done this in the US and if so could you please share relevant contact details for SH and say what the process was and how much they charged. I originally bought the unit from The GPS Store.

I have not done that but maybe call the GPS store and ask them. They probably have a technician on staff.
