I am seriously thinking of selling/trading my 1994 Tiara for a 36-42' trawler.
A pic is in my profile. I have plenty of pix to share with serious parties.
At trawler speed 8.6 knots 4.7 gph (2.1 mpg) but she will cruise all day at 21 knots, 31.6 gph and WOT at 27.4 knots 46 gph.
New fuel tanks (Aluminum) 2014
New Batteries all AGM 2014
New Camper canvas 2015
Total engine hrs 490 ea (+/-) Cummins 6cta 450 HP ea.
New main cabin ac 2014
Generator approx 475 hrs
Extremely well equipped with electronics, ground tackle etc. May consider including the Tiara branded Zodiac rib with Honda 9.9 - 4 stroke.
I keep her in a boat house on a lift and she has always been in fresh water having spent her life until last October on Lake Michigan. Brought her down from Michigan in 2014 and now on St. Johns River (brackish).
Value is realative and never what the owner thinks, but NADA shows Average retail at $130K. Would like to find a close value in a trawler but am very flexible.
