SS gate latch replacement

Any thoughts on where I can find a replacement SS gate latch for my ‘93 classic 42? One of the vertical release pins is bent and I’d like to find a replacement before it breaks….. This is a pic of the bent one…..

Have you tried unscrewing the bent pin? I bet you could easily fabricate one from a stainless bolt if you match the threads.

On our last boat we had latches similar to those that were broken. A friend of mine that has a metal lathe made some new ones for me. He said it was easy.

Stainless Bolt Latch

Don't mean to steal he thread, maybe borrow? I too am looking for a bolt "handle" for a cockpit gate latch. Both pics show the assembled latch and the 3 parts, I am looking doe the mushroom bolt.
