That's good news, amazing such a gem could go that long without re-development.
There have been several islands in the Bahamas for that to happen. Some nice areas have been purchased and taken private. It will be nice if there is a public marina and resort. There are at least 50 islands in the Bahamas currently for sale.
A bit on Walker's Cay. 58 Acres. The following is things there but condition might not be usable. 2800' airstrip. Electric generating facility. Marina. Approvals in place for another marina, a hotel, retail, and 100+ residences. It was an incredible fishing destination. Like many islands there a great potential to be something nice, just not so sure much potential to make money.
