I seem to recall there was some drama with whoever controlled it, and it all ultimately self destructed. But I wasn't involved in it directly.

It disappeared about 4 years ago. When I had the GB36 I was a regular on that forum. Never found out why, but in hindsight can see it was failing.

Boat builders really only build the deck and hull and marry them together. All the other parts are 3rd party parts that the builder simply installs. Chances are good there is also plenty of collective knowledge for other questions as well.
Grand Banks
In 1962 Kenneth Smith was commissioned to design Spray, a 36-foot diesel powered cruiser. A year later work started on a line of boats that would come to be known as Grand Banks. Since 1966 this line of boats has been the benchmark by which all other production cruisers are measured.
